| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description When the demands of a family-size breakfast get you down, KitchenAid's spacious four-slice toaster has the answer. Extra wide slots easily accommodate thick slices of bread or bagels into self-centering bread racks, ensuring a perfectly even toast every time. Hassle-free one-year replacement warranty.

Toaster September 3, 2010 Robert B. Macdougall Excellent toaster. Toasts bagels and toast very well. The toasting process takes a bit longer than other toasters but the wait is worth it. Very consistent results.
Great Toaster August 24, 2010 KrisKW I have had this toaster for over a month. I love this toaster and would recommended it to a friend
Okay but not perfect August 22, 2010 Peter Shahrokh (polar bear hollow, Artic) This toaster is what you would want a toaster to be: simple, down-to-earth, and efficient. My big problem is that the push down tab split and broke within a year of its use. It's not as though we dropped it or misused it. It just split because it wasn't made well. It seems like a small item, but it's the only thing one touches when one does a toast. But if you have more than one person in the house that eats breakfast at the same time, the four-slot version is the best way to go.
FINALLY August 16, 2010 Maine dreamin' (Adirondacks, NY) This toaster is awesome. It is very well constructed with easy to use dials and levers. It toasts everything evenly no matter if you prefer lightly toasted or well done. I have tried many other brands without satisfaction. I had been using an old, faithful Black & Decker toaster which the plastic lever broke off years ago. Throughout my long search for a new toaster (with many failed attempts), I had been using a jar lid as a makeshift lever. Sounds strange, I know, but when you're desperate you'll try anything.
Other reviewers mentioned that this toaster works slow, but I didn't think it took much longer than any other I've tried. Besides, when you consider that you can have something perfectly toasted for you to enjoy, who's in a hurry?
Some people thought it was pricey, but when you see how solid this toaster is and how well it works you'll be glad you spent a little extra.
Consider this toaster when you're shopping, you won't be disappointed.
You Get What You Pay For August 10, 2010 Robert Leverton (Canton, MI USA) My mother always told me that you get what you pay for. I am quite satisfied with my purchase of the KitchenAid KMTT 4 slice toaster. I previously had a Rival 4 slice in-line toaster that lasted over 12 years. I definitely got my moneys worth with that one. So far I'm really impressed with the operation of this KitchenAid Toaster. Yeah, I know it's a toaster, it's supposed to brown the bread (my wife's comment) and it's on the pricey side to boot. However, the quality is top rate. We've received more positive comments from visitors to our home regarding how nice it looks next to our brushed chrome Bunn coffee maker. The best part is it even takes the wide bread like the slices from Pepperidge Farm. I can do four of those at a time. My old Rival would only make two wide slices at a time since it only fit one per each of the two in-line slots. It browns it evenly on both sides. I find the 6 setting perfect for breakfast toast. I've only had it one month now so all I can hope is that my momma did steer me wrong.
