I bought this toaster because I was frustrated with my toaster oven's attempts to make toast. I also liked that it is small, good looking, and not digital. I wanted something that I could adjust manually. Well, the lever operation is easy, the toast is great, and it is everything I wanted. Would recommend to anyone.

Having laid my Russell-Hobbs glass sided toaster to rest, I searched long and hard for a replacement. This is the closest in design, and actually, it functions better than the R-H, which has been discontinued. Toasting is even, and even at lower toasting settings, the toast is "crisp." It looks boxier than it actually is. It is easy to clean and solid, not tinny, like some of the other toasters on the market. It has NO plastic pieces either.

This toaster is great. I use the 1 to 2 setting. It works quickly. The only downfall is that it is a bit deep. But it matches the coffee maker and it looks good.
