5 out of 5 stars Missing Parts Makes Unusable   August 19, 2010
Jack J Sharkey (Alexandria, VA)
Oven came with missing parts. Shipper to refund my money. I had one years ago that outlived its working life and we loved it as it reheated food without drying it out and served as a toaster too reducing counter space needs.

I bought this Black & Decker FC150BR six months ago. I use it once in a while. Well, this morning my luck ran out. I try to toast some bread and no power to the system. It just doesn't turn on. Completely dead, dead. Do not wast your $100.00 and time on this item. STAY AWAY.

2 out of 5 stars Halogen lamp oven   June 9, 2010
John Doe (USA, America)
I had a lighwave oven. It had a quartz halogen bulb that light up and the heat generate from the halogen bulb cook the food.

This Infrawave oven is the same as the lightwave oven. It seems to have a halogen lamp that turn on and heat the food from the heat generated from the halogen lamp.

They used to have those halogen lamp with 300 watts to 500 watts usage and it used to heat up my residence everytime I turn it on. What a waste of energy those halogen lamps were.

From my experience with the lightwave oven, it was not that good. This is nothing more than a box with a high power light bulb in it. And what do you do when the light bulb burns out?

They used to have those kiddy oven that can bake food for the kids with a 60 watts light bulb in it. This infrawave oven is for adults who still think they are kids.

I prefer a convection oven over the lightwave oven.

1 out of 5 stars If it sounds too good to be true...   April 27, 2010

Silly me. After reading all the functions of this product I really believed it would take the place of my microwave, toaster and indoor grill. Not...too bad I only have a B.A. and not an M.A. This product is not at all what it was touted. Very disappointed.

5 out of 5 stars WORKS GOOD FOR TWO   April 19, 2010
Baldy37 (Florida)
WE`VE USED IT FOR A YEAR INSTEAD OF OUR BIG OVEN. WE DO CORNBREAD IN A SMALL BLACK SKILLET AND BAKE CAKES IN AN 8X8 PAN. DON`T PUT IN TO MUCH BATTER OR IT WILL OVERFLOW! MAKES REAL GOOD COOKIES!
