| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The Cuisinart Griddler makes multifunctional an understatement! With five separate cooking options, it can handle everything from pancakes to sausages to grilled cheese to steaks, hamburgers and Panini. A floating cover, and one set of reversible plates that snap in and out, turn the Griddler into a Contact Grill, a Panini Press, a Full Grill, a Full Griddle, or Half Grill/Grill Griddle. Dual temperature controls ensure everything is perfectly cooked!

the problem i have with the grill is the grease draining to the front of the grill when it's suppose to drain to the back
Griddler September 6, 2010 P. Bomar I bought the Cuisinart GR-4N 5-in1 Griddler as a replacement for an aging and much smaller grill of another brand, and I wish I had thought to do so much earlier. It's small enough to cook for one (most often its use), but promises to be perfect for a brunch or dinner crowd. I like the options to grill closed or open, and love the griddle for my favorite pancakes. The removable plates are a godsend - so easy to clean that I feel happy to use this appliance everyday! Uses a lot less electricity than my regular oven and broiler, too.
Throw away September 4, 2010 Ernest J. Petrarca I liked the griddler despite the fact you can't clean the cooking plates well because of the so called non stick surface. I used it often according to the coking instruction booklet that came with the appliance. After a short time the plastic locking clips that hold the removable plates in place became brittle and broke off. The top plate will not secure to the lid rendering the appliance useless . This is an expensive throw away.
Great machine August 30, 2010 James E. Dalton (Boston MA USA) This is our third machine and the only negative on it is they don't last long. We usually buy a backup machine when the price is right. If you don't like burnt meat, this is for you. Cooks without blackening meat.
2nd one August 29, 2010 Reece Chapman (Atlanta, GA) I ordered one for my daughter and liked it so much, I ordered one for myself. Good value and quality.
