Exactly What I wanted July 27, 2010 Kevin M. Lawrence This panini pan is perfect for what I needed. I love that I can use it for a variety of uses, but so far the main use has been to make sandwiches. Every time the sandwiches have turned out beautifully and with different breads. The pan is easy to clean and the lid is heavy, but not overly heavy to lift. I'm glad I went with a pan instead of buying another appliance to plug in.
New to Panini's February 11, 2010 M. Rollins (Graeagle, CA, USA) We're new to making our own Panini sandwiches, but extremely pleased with the results from this Calphalon pan. Even the skeptical grandkids loved the first sandwiches that came off the grill. All of our cookware is Calphalon, and once again they score high on our list. Great for sandwiches as well as salmon filets, bacon, etc. Love it! Clean up is a breeze.
Go for traditional panini maker February 6, 2010 Grace Liu 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I like that this panini maker is a pan. However, because it is a pan, you cannot get griddle marks on both sides of the panini as easily as with the traditional pull-down-and-press panini makers. It's a bit of a hassle to have to flip the sandwich and risk the innards falling out. I wish I had gone with a traditional one.
panini pan and press February 5, 2010 Glenn-bo We gave it as a gift. The report we've had is top drawer---it really works well!Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick Panini Pan and Press
